Mikolaj is a real multi-talent in bass as well as guitar as well as vocals and "Darkside" Maciej's drumming is a well-calibrated 100th-of-seconds-clockwork. Not for nothing is Mgla considered as a standard for a lot of other blacker-than-black metal bands. I hope to see this band live once.....

This is way better than it should be with the monotonous riffs and drums. It’s a haunting album. I certainly hope this approach to drums is not widely emulated though.

PSA: if there was an album you heard a couple years ago and thought it was ok, listen to it again and you might love it. That's what happened to me with this album. I cannot fathom why it didn't stick with me back then. Same thing happened with Decoherence's Unitarity for that matter.

Tervahäät have created a beautifully simple, yet hauntingly atmospheric Dark Folk album that perfectly evokes the spirit of the albums cover. If you like to get away from it all (even if only in your own mind) then you could do much worse than giving this a listen.

What an impressive piece of black metal. This one-man hurricane is pure art. Sgah‘gahsowáh creates an haunting atmosphere. He puts so much soul in his music.

I pretty much love this. The musical variety on display is astounding, but the songs still fit together well as an album.
